The conference will focus on innovation, agent payments, open banking, embedded finance and the transformation of wealth management, while also addressing some of the most pressing challenges in fraud prevention, financial crime and cybersecurity.
For the first time, the event will welcome Astrid Cousin, Director for Horizontal Policies at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union. She will join Bulgarian and international experts in discussing market fragmentation and the need for payment sovereignty.
Another interesting keynote will be given by Noah Krähenmann, Global Managing Director of Wealth Management at Temenos, who will explore the profound transformation taking place in wealth management and the role of technology in responding to evolving customer expectations.
In the area of financial crime, Evangelia Dimitroulia, President of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE)-Greece, together with other international experts, will lead a practical workshop on how fraud prevention and AML functions can work together more effectively and in a coordinated way- helping organizations reduce financial losses while avoiding regulatory and sanctions risks.
