What it is
The MCP Server for One Identity Manager turns a One Identity Manager environment into a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. An MCP client — Claude or any other MCP-capable application — connects to a single HTTP endpoint and gains a deliberate, curated set of tools for identity, IT Shop, attestation, operations, development and governance work, all executed with the connected user’s own One Identity Manager permissions.

How does it work
An operator asks, in natural language, “is the environment healthy and is anything stuck?” The client calls the get_system_health and get_job_queue tools, the plugin runs those reads against One Identity Manager as the connected user, and the answer comes back — optionally rendered as an interactive Ops Console on hosts that support MCP Apps.
