Recap: "IdentiBeer 5 – Defend against the enemy within using IDM"

On May 29, 2025, we hosted the fifth edition of IdentiBeer, this time tackling a critical but often overlooked aspect of cybersecurity — insider threats.

While most organizations focus their defenses on external attacks, threats from within can be just as damaging, whether caused by negligence or malicious intent.

Our session explored how Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) can serve as a powerful line of defense against internal risks. We demonstrated how modern IDM solutions can help detect, prevent, and respond to unauthorized or excessive access, ensuring accountability and security within complex digital environments.

The discussion covered real-world examples, best practices for managing access rights, and the role of processes like access reviews, role modeling, and recertification in minimizing risk.
