Senior Identity Management Consultant
(German-speaking)

IDVKM is a Sofia-based consulting company specialising in Enterprise Identity Management across its three main areas: Identity Governance and Administration, Access Management, and Privileged Access Management.

We work with leading international software vendors and implement their solutions in complex enterprise environments for major customers in Germany, Austria, and other Western European markets. Our projects are primarily based on Java and .NET technologies.

We also have our own R&D centre, where we develop identity management products and solutions.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a

German-speaking Senior Identity Management Consultant

As a Senior Identity Management Consultant at IDVKM, you will design and build enterprise software solutions, integrations, APIs and custom components for international customers.

The role is primarily focused on hands-on software development. You will also communicate with German-speaking customers to clarify technical requirements, discuss implementation options and support the successful delivery of each solution.

Previous Identity and Access Management experience is an advantage, but it is not required. We will provide specialized training and support during your onboarding.

This position is a strong match for an experienced developer who wants to work on technically challenging projects, use German in a professional environment and progress towards a Technical Lead role.

What you will do
  • Design, develop and maintain enterprise solutions using Java or .NET technologies;
  • Build APIs, connectors, workflows and system integrations;
  • Integrate Identity Management platforms with business applications, databases, directories, HR systems and cloud services;
  • Analyse requirements and translate them into reliable technical solutions;
  • Participate in solution design and technical decision-making;
  • Write clean, secure, testable and maintainable code;
  • Review code and contribute to the improvement of development standards;
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues;
  • Communicate with German-speaking customers during technical meetings and workshops;
  • Collaborate with developers, consultants, architects and project managers;
  • Share knowledge and support less experienced colleagues;
  • Contribute to the development of IDVKM’s own products;
What we are looking for
  • At least five years of professional software development experience;
  • Strong experience with either Java or C# and .NET;
  • Very good knowledge of object-oriented programming and software design principles;
  • Experience with enterprise applications or complex system integrations;
  • Good knowledge of REST APIs, web services, SQL and relational databases;
  • Experience with Git, automated testing and CI/CD processes;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to take ownership of technical tasks and work independently;
  • Clear and professional communication skills;
  • Very good spoken and written German and English;
The following would be an advantage
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management or cybersecurity solutions;
  • Knowledge of One Identity Manager, SailPoint, Omada, Saviynt or similar platforms;
  • Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, ASP.NET Core or comparable frameworks;
  • Knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, OAuth 2.0 or OpenID Connect;
  • Experience with Azure, AWS or other cloud platforms;
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes or similar technologies;
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams;
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
