The fifth event of the year took place on the 30.5.2024 and had a very interesting flair. It was a different event, compared to the other Identity Beer events in two major aspects.
The first one was its focus. While this year more business topics were present, this one was very technical and focused on operations.
The second one was its speaker. For the first time we had a session with an external speaker (ok, in the NIS2 Webinar, there were also external speakers, but also an internal one)
Viktor Daskalov, an experienced IAM engineer, made an interesting presentation about IAM operations, specifically using the product Identity IQ of the vendor Sailpoint. He gave some interesting insights of the daily tasks he is performing, and some interesting discussions came up. The community discussed different approaches and how they are applied with different vendors.
After the presentations, we had an interesting Q&A session where the expert answered some interesting questions. The event ended in the usual way – with pizza, beer and interesting discussions. We were very happy to welcome the guests and speak about such an interesting and important topic.
