Our CEO visited the One Identity Partner Day in Hamburg. The host, traditionally a customer of One Identity, this time was Otto. The venue was very suitable for the conference, with a main room offering all necessary facilities (including air conditioning), a breakout room and a goof foyer, where lunch and coffee breaks could take place.
Although the German Railways were this time not on time and the first two hours of the prevent were missed, the flair of it was very nice. Seeing so many friends from One Identity and the other consulting companies was really nice, catching up with them both on a professional and on a private level. The weather in Hamburg was also very nice, with a nice summer flair.
On the next day, the presentations started. There were two tracks- the sales track and the business track. Both were very informative, with a special highlight on the product roadmaps, followed by Q&A sessions. This enabled us to see deeply through the strategy of the vendor, discuss some decisions and understand why they were made.
Also, the strategy of bringing new products and new models onto the market was quite insightful, showing us how the One Identity Portfolio covers all market segments in the three crown disciplines of Identity Management – Identity Governance and Administration, Access Management and Privileged Access Management, whether on-prem or cloud based.
All in all, the event was very nice and we are looking forward to the next one.
